Dr Mahadevan completed his graduation from The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University and his post graduation in Paediatrics from Pondicherry University. He completed his doctorate in Gastroenterology from Madras Medical College. Dr Mahadevan has a total clinical experience of 14 years.

Dr Mahadevan has had experiences working in the profile of a senior resident, assistant professor and a consultant at various esteemed institutions like Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER), and Global Hospitals among others. Of the total 14 years of work experience, Dr Mahadevan has spent 5 years working in Pediatrics and 9 years working in the field of Gastroenterology.
