Prof Vasudevan is an expert clinician with impeccable diagnostic skills and is specially interested in electrophysiology of the brain, movement disorders and epilepsy. Having been actively associated with medical colleges and research centres for more than two and half decades, he has mentored several post graduates, super specialists and PhD students and has to his credit of several publications in high impact National and International journals. He is the editor and author of practice pearls in neurology, management pearls in neurology, section editor and author in the IAN textbook of neurology. He has also been a principal investigator for clinical trials in epilepsy, stroke, peripheral neuropathy, parkinsons disease and spinal cord diseases. In his quest of the study of consciousness and its relation with the human brain, Dr Vasudevan is the founder of the colloquia called “Beyond Brain”.
